Nash TC72 Guitar, 3 Tone Sunburst, Rosewood Neck
- DESCRIPTION
The Nash TC-72 is a Vintage Tele model from Nash Guitars. Bill Nash designed the TC-72 to create a guitar that isn't extremely expensive, yet still captures that great look, feel, and playability of a well played and loved 1972 Fender Telecaster Custom.
Not only does the TC-72 look and feel like a vintage Tele, it also features a number of popular modern appointments, such as Lollar handwound pickups and Gotoh Vintage tuning keys.
If anyone knows about building vintage guitars, it's Bill Nash! He has worked with a HUGE number of them for many years and has a great deal of knowledge about how a vintage guitar looks and feels. The aged control knobs, pickguards, dinged and scratched finish, and aged hardware make the guitar look old, but the modern techniques used to make the guitar ensure that it plays like a brand new instrument. Each Nash TC-72 is built by hand, so each one is completely unique. It features a maple fingerboard, a Swamp Ash body, and Jason Lollar hand-wound pickups. The bridge is made from vintage parts, and the entire guitar is given a light level of wear and tear via a relicing process.

About the Lollar Pickups in this guitar:
Lollar Regal (Classic "Wide Range") Neck Humbucker is fat and clear, with a nice top end sparkle. Great note bloom, with a vocal midrange that never sacrifices note definition. The originals had the same winding specs for the neck and bridgeours vary a little for better volume and tone balance. We make custom sized bobbins in our shop, with the covers, base plates, and lead and magnet wire made to spec for us in the US. They have the same footprint as the originalsperfect for your Tele Customs and Deluxes! Chrome, nickel or gold (Gold pole pieces not available) covers. Available in singles or sets.
The Special T (bridge) is a higher output version of the Vintage T Series Bridge with a rounder top end, a little more midrange, and more bottom end. Roll the tone control back a bit and get a somewhat convincing P-90/vintage humbucker tone. Flat pole design with graded Alnico 5 magnets. Vintage style cloth covered lead wire. Wax potted.
