Suhr Classic JM Pro Guitar - Black, HH, TP6
- DESCRIPTION
Get your Suhr Classic JM Pro Guitar at Humbucker Music, the largest Suhr Pro Series guitar dealer in the United States with the biggest selection in stock and for sale.
The new Suhr Classic JM Pro starts with a familiar, yet more refined and sleeker, offset body and adds enhancements to playability previously unattainable to the guitarist interested in a truly vintage vibe guitar.
This Classic JM Pro features dual Suhr SSV humbuckers which have a broad sonic aperture with very little compression, making for a dynamic, vintage output humbucker. The SSV Neck is a versatile pickup that combines the warmth of a vintage humbucker with increased clarity and definition.
Another great feature is the unique contoured cutaway and heel on the JM Pro, allowing easier access to the upper register. For optimum tone and stability, the neck joint must not be too tight or too loose, therefore all of Suhr's neck pockets are precisely fitted by hand, by expert craftsmen.
Like all Suhr guitars, the frets are Plek leveled and hand dressed for superior playability. The improved headstock design enhances tuning stability, eliminating the need for a string tree.
The combination of Alder bodies and Maple with Indian Rosewood fingerboard necks, combined with the superior Suhr pickups give these instruments that classic tone expected from a JM styled guitar, fitting nicely in every genre from country to rock.

About the pickups in this guitar:
The SSV has a broad sonic aperture with very little compression, making for a dynamic, vintage output humbucker. The SSV Neck is a versatile pickup that combines the warmth of a vintage humbucker with increased clarity and definition. The SSV Bridge is similar to the SSV neck in tone, but wound hotter for more output, increased sustain and a sweet midrange response. Both use Alnico V magnets, and feature 4-conductor wire.
DC Resistance: 9K ohms for bridge position, 8K ohms for neck position
