To honor its 70th anniversary, the Fender Custom Shop has recreated the original in all its beautifully simple glory. Presented in six distinct finish packages, from NOS to super heavy relic and everything in between, there’s a finish for every taste.

The Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition 1951 Precision Bass features a two-piece select ash body and a one-piece tinted quartersawn maple neck with a '51 U profile, 7.25" fingerboard radius and 20 medium vintage frets for perfect feel and comfort just like the original. The hand-wound ’55 P-Bass pickup delivers the punch that changed music so forcefully all those years ago. Other features include single-ply black phenolic pickguard, tinted maple finger rest, ’51 P-Bass bridge with original fiber saddles, vintage tuning machines, bone nut, and disk string guide. Includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
