The Fender Custom Shop Collection's 1959 Journeyman Relic Jazzmaster captures the essence of the original model that debuted sixty-five years ago in 1958. Its sleek Select Ash body boasts a Journeyman Relic lacquer finish in Chocolate 3-Color Sunburst giving it a "well-loved" feel that has been passed down through the years.

The rift-sawn maple neck sports a '62-style Jazzmaster "C" profile and a 9.5"-radius flat-ram rosewood fingerboard with 21 narrow-tall (6105) frets and a bone nut. Its vintage-inspired features include a rare early Jazzmaster single-ply gold anodized pickguard, two Custom Shop hand-wound '62 Jazzmaster pickups with a 3-way switch, and a vintage dual circuit (lead/rhythm) for added flair. The attention to detail is top-notch, and it features wiring and a 250k volume and tone potentiometer that improves both tone and playability with a unique modern touch. Also comes with shell case, strap, and certificate of authenticity.
