Vintage Sound Amps
Vintage Sound Amps produces some of the best Blackface tone you can find in the boutique amp market. These amps are all based on a classic Blackface circuit, but with Vintage Sound's own custom modifications. Rick Hayes uses the best component available in his designs with an all hand-wired construction. These amps use carbon comp resistors, Orange Drop tone caps, solid core pushback wire and custom hand wound transformers. Even the cabinets are constructed with quality in mind, using fine pine and dove-tail joints.
