We designed this Custom Classic T run to bring the craftsmanship and quality of Suhr's Custom line of guitars to a more attractive price while providing the player with some of Suhr's most popular appointments. If you were to custom order is guitar from Suhr it would cost $4745 with an approximate 12 month lead time.

Starting with the highly regarded Classic T, and building on the massive success of the Classic Roasted Limited run, we added some upgrades such as a roasted flamed maple neck.  Aesthetically, we chose both black and tortoise shell pick guards depending on body color. This run also features abalone dot inlays, which look spectacular when paired with the darker roasted flamed maple necks!

These Select Classic T guitars feature low noise Suhr Classic T pickups with SSCII electronics, stainless steel frets and modern hardware like Suhr Locking Tuners and a compensated brass saddle Wilkinson bridge.

And of course, each Select Classic T goes through the same renowned individual setup process that $10-15k Suhr Custom guitars go through. For the money, these guitars simply CANNOT be beat.

Each is built with a two-piece Swamp Ash body. Suhr takes great care in finishing the body with an ultra "Thin Skin" urethane finish, allowing for the wood to resonate freely while still providing plenty of protection to ensure the longevity of these guitars.

The neck is made from beautiful roasted flamed maple and features a 60's C Vintage shape with medium stainless steel frets. The frets feature rolled edges and a 9"-12" compound radius, great for smooth bends. These appointments create a comfortable, fast feeling neck with long lasting playability.

Suhr's Classic T pickups are the result of their extensive research into what made the pickups of Telecasters so special and renowned for their unmistakable sonic quality heard on pop and rock music records of the past half-century.

Their Classic T Bridge pickup retains the twang and the bite of the best vintage Tele pickups while doing away with piercing or harsh highs that are common in pickups of this type.

The Classic T Pickups are wound to produce a broad range of classic T-style tones, from clean and snappy to warm and punchy with just the right amount of growl.
