Vintage Sound Tweed 5 1x10 Combo, Lacquered Tweed

The Vintage Sound Tweed 5 is an all new amp for 2024. The Tweed 5 is essentially an all hand-wired, all USA made, 1x10" combo that's based on the much loved Fender Tweed Champ 5F1 circuit of the 50's, but with an upgraded 10" speaker as opposed to the 8".

The famous tweed amp became popular amongst studio players impressed by how well these record and was easily mistakable for a much larger amplifier. Blues rock enthusiasts have touted these as a secret weapon for decades, making them more and more collectable, certainly breaking them out of their original intended use for beginner players. 

The Tweed 5 is a point-to-point, all hand-wired amp using premium TAD tubes, top quality filter caps and electrolytics, carbon comp resistors, Orange Drop tone caps, solid core push back wire, and custom transformers that are hand wound in the USA.

The cab is constructed of finger jointed solid pine with a Baltic birch baffle, and wrapped in beautiful lacquered tweed. Classy!
